Woodland
Fairy Acres is absolutely delighted to be one of the participating supporters
of the “Summer
Reading Program” for the Hamilton East Public Library system. The
HEPL system includes two library
branches in Hamilton County, IN - the Fishers Library and the Noblesville
Library.
We
were delighted to have our line of Old World Floral Scone Mixes characterized
as "...a wonderful
find!" and "Some of the best scone mixes on earth...that made
our knees weak!".
We are also incredibly honored by Fancy
That!'s request to retail our gift-packaged Old World Floral
Scone Mixes in their beautifully appointed Rental Showroom & Retail
Shoppe in Walpole, Massachu-
setts, beginning this Fall 2010.
The
Summer Reading Program is divided into four age groups: Infants (to 3-year-olds),
Youth (4- to 12-
year-olds), Teenagers, and Adults. Specific reading requirements
are outlined for each age group and
those who complete the 8-week Program (June 1st – July 31st) will
receive various prizes and coupons,
as well as words of encouragement from Program coordinators and a true
sense of accomplishment.
The
Summer Reading Program was established by HEPL more than a decade ago and is
a popular
summer activity for both children and adults. The Infant group was
established to encourage parents,
siblings and even grandparents to spend a quiet hour each day reading
to the youngest members of their
family. The Program is also credited with contributing to the high
scholastic achievements of students
within the Hamilton Southeastern School District.
Readers
of all ages who complete the Summer Reading Program through either library branch
(Fishers
or Noblesville) will receive a coupon for 10% off Woodland Fairy Acres
Farmers’ Market products
(floral scones, marshmallows, cookies, teas, lollies, mixes, scented sugar
hearts, culinary lavender, etc.).

The
new Saxony Market will complement the popular downtown
Fishers Farmers' Market by reaching out to the residents living
on the East side of Fishers, Geist Reservoir and Fortville. Mean-
while, the Fishers Farmers’ Market will continue to reach out to
the residents living Downtown and on the West side of Fishers.
The
Saxony Market will have extended hours of operation
throughout the Market Season, in order to allow all residents
of Fishers and our neighboring towns the opportunity to visit
vendors at both Farmers' Markets each Saturday.
Just
10 months ago, we approached Republic Development, LLC
and the Saxony Management Company with the idea of a second
Farmers' Market to be situated in the beautiful Saxony residen-
tial area of East Fishers. We are delighted to see our idea real-
ized!
Woodland
Fairy Acres is absolutely thrilled to be one of the ini-
tial vendors to help launch the 2010 Saxony Market located on
the Northeast side of beautiful, rapidly growing Fishers, IN!

From
fine china and vintage glassware to white lace parasols
and tiered silver servers, Ms. Erlandson’s company offers a
variety of beautifully unique accessories that bring a "time-
less elegance to any affair, no matter what the occasion”.
Her distinctive collection is extensive, ever expanding and
absolutely breathtaking, as is her new beautifully appointed
Rental Showroom & Retail Shoppe located in Walpole, MA.
In late 2009, with business booming and her
inventory ever
growing, Ms. Erlandson moved her extensive collection of
beautiful vintage party accessories from a modest local stor-
age space to her first Showroom & Shoppe in downtown
Walpole. While currently open to the public, the official
Grande Opening of her new location is scheduled for Sep-
tember 2010.
In
order for her project to be funded, Ms. Erlandson’s finan-
cial goal of $3,800.00 must be reached by June 30, 2010.
Funds raised for the project will go towards purchasing a
sign for her new Showroom & Shoppe, as well as allow Ms.
Erlandson’s company the ability to host free tea tastings for
interested individuals throughout the community and beyond.
Ms. Erlandson’s dream is to bring “gentility to my corner
of
the world, one cup of tea at a time...” Her project is current-
ly featured on Kickstarter.com’s Recommended List – those
projects which "showcase creativity and passion”.
Pledges
for Ms. Erlandson’s project start at $1.00. Along
with wonderful rewards offered by Ms. Erlandson at each
pledge level, financial backers who pledge $20.00 or more
before June 30th will receive 10% off their next online order
with Woodland Fairy Acres.
The
goal of Kickstarter Inc., through its website Kickstart-
er.com and its merchant
partnership with Amazon.com, is to
promote “a new way to fund creative ideas and ambitious en-
deavors to help others bring their projects, events and dreams
come to life”.
