WOODLAND FAIRY ACRES - PRODUCT CATALOG AND ORDER FORM
     Fishers/Geist Magazine
  (March/April issue - 2009)
In Spring 2009, Woodland Fairy Acres was thrilled to have its
"Classic Vanilla", "Strawberry Parfait" & "Peaches n' Cream"
handmade marshmallows featured in the "Savor" section of
Fishers/Geist Magazine, one of Hamilton County's leading
publications.  Our only regret is that at press time, space allot-
ment for the article necessitated having to exclude our "Lemon
 Meringue" handmade marshmallows.
The article, "Peep Perfections - Make your own Marshmallow
Treats", featured Woodland Fairy Acres and its "Sweet Easter
Peeps".  This "how-to" article was meant to inspire a new family
tradition of fun and creativity, with kid-friendly marshmallow
recipes developed by Woodland Fairy Acres specifically for
 Fishers/Geist Magazine.
We were absolutely thrilled when the Magazine contacted us at
Christmas-time 2008, requesting our involvement with the article.
While our winter temperatures here in Indiana were in the single
digits and snow covered the ground outside, thoughts of these
Easter-themed marshmallow treats happily transported us to the
warmth and cool breezes of the sun-filled days of Spring.
It was not difficult to imagine a beautiful Spring day filled with
the unbridled giggles and laughter between adult and child, ema-
nating from the comfort of a home kitchen.  Add to that a whim-
sical array of pastel-colored sweet treats all taking their rightful
places on sugar-dusted kitchen counters, and a new tradition of
 creating homemade Spring/Easter-themed marshmallows was
born, using a selection of favorite cookie cutters or simple pastry
bag with decorating tip.  Decorated handmade marshmallows,
sprinkled with pastel-colored homemade sanding sugar, in such
shapes as large and small leaved daisies, sunflowers & tulips,
Easter bunnies & chicks (both in "peep" form and cookie cutter
shapes), butterflies in flight, Easter baskets & polka-dotted Easter
eggs, were just some of our creations for the "how-to" article...
And of course, what Spring season would be complete without
the blessing of its showers?  Bridal and Baby, that is...  Any guest
would cherish such a delicate and pillowy treat as a handmade
Spring-themed marshmallow, with which to remember that special
day.  Decorated handmade marshmallows in such shapes as wed-
ding cakes & bells, doves & hearts, baby carriages & carousel
horses, are just a few of our ideas.  Your own imagination will
offer you limitless possibilities...  Enjoy the creations you dream
 up...
